Speed of quest text opening up?

I remember before, when I opened up a quest, the full text wasn't immediately there, it made an writting sound and the words were being written, but now its instant, was that taken out by blizzard and made to be instant, a UI switch for that, or does it have to be an addon I have causing this?

I do remember there being an option to enable the instant pop up of quest text.

This was a while ago though, whether it's changed since then I don't know.

Well what about you as of now, is yours instant, or does it write in?

I'm trying to find out if Blizz took out the slow writing of the feature, or is it something I did.

I set mine to instant a long time ago, haven't thought about it.

My sub isn't active right now so I couldn't say whether it's still there or not.

The option has been removed, but you can get the desired effect by using an addon.

look throu interface options. was some time ago but i remeber i saw an option "instant quest text" and a checked square besides.

edit: so it is removed then..
