Can this build run all current games at Ultra settings?

Hello I was wondering if this build can run all the current games at Ultra settings (GW2/D3 , etc.)


CPU - Intel core i5-2500k
CPU COOLER - Cooler Master Hyper 212
MOTHERBOARD - ASUS P8Z68-V PRO/Gen3
RAM - Corsair Vengeance 8 GB
HDD - Western Digital 500 GB Blue
SSD - Crucial SSD M4 64 GB
GPU - Sapphire HD 7970
CASE - Cooler Master HAF 922
POWER SUPPLY - XFX Pro Series 850 Watt Bronze
MONITOR - Samsung LED 23" Monitor

Cant get much better computer for gaming use, except maybe GTX680 instead of R7970 because it has better fan.

BF3 will drop below 60fps at times when you have settings at true ultra, but will remain above 40. For MMORPG's you could get by with $200 cheaper graphics card.

Yeah, should handle everything but BF3 on 1920x1080 at max settings, the power supply is more than a little overkill though, unless you plan on adding a second card.

Yes it can run ultra no problem. The PSU is overkill (550-650 is enough). if you can fit it in your budget, change the SSD to the 128GB version or you'll probably regret it later on. 64GB takes too much micromanaging (imo).

Thanks for the replies. Unfortunately it's not possible for me to get the 128 gb ssd. I'm planning on storing all my games in the 500GB hdd and the ssd is strictly for the system and softwares. I think it should be enough.

Just Two more question: Will the Sapphire HD 7970 fit in the case? (Cooler Master HAF 922)

Also, is it worth it getting the factory OC version of sapphire 7970 (~40$ more)

In that case I'd say it's worth it.

Yes a 7970 will fit in that case, however maybe you want to consider some better case choice around your chosen price point? I'll link you 3 around the same price that i would choose over the CM.
