Why have pre-patch events become so forgettable and insipid?

So I heard rumor that Toonami might come back and this brought back memories of the Dragon Ball series (DB, DBZ, DBGT)...then that got me thinking: Just how much of my life did I waste watching the series? A lot, that's how much....
Lets see here:
Dragon Ball consisted of 153 aired episodes,
Dragon Ball Z of 291 episodes
Dragon Ball GT of 64 episodes
153+291+64 = 508
Each episode lasted ~24 minutes (Not including commercials)
508*24 = 12,192 minutes.
60 minutes in an hour, so:
12,192 / 60 = 203.2
24 hours in a day, so:
203.2 / 24 = ~8.46
By my calculations, watching every episode of the Dragon Ball series would take one almost 8.5 days to do,if they were to watch all the episodes non stop.

Hum, try make a calculation of how much random talking & waiting there is. I bet you can shave off like 2-3 days like that =P

8 days isn't a lot. I've seen every episode of Dragonball and Dragonball Z, haven't watched any GT. Not that I'm against GT like some people are, I just haven't had the opportunity to ever watch it.

Watching DB and DBZ does not count as time wasted.
DBGT on the other hand, does.

I didn't think DB:GT was that bad....but then again I was younger then too.

That video is so amazing and superb.Dragon ball series is fantastic series.I watch and enjoy all episodes of it.I love it so much.

Now I'll admit I've only watched a few of DBZ:Kai but watching it instead of the original uncut two weeks per arch of AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.
Could cut your viewing time down quite a bit. I think they did up to the end of the Cell saga in like 98 episodes which was like 180 episodes in the original. I'm not saying you should swap to Kai, just giving you the option. Tbh if I was gonna marathon DB/Z/GT I would definitely do it the right way.
