Your PvP Builds!!

D&D/SB? from the look of it your entire build is around stealth and your Daggers...which seems, idk weak to me. Everything seems from in builds but, youve got no way of staying alive other than hoping your opponent dies faster than you.

Idk, i don't like daggers for a theif : /

What is a better way to stay alive then stealth and run. Some may look at that as cowardly but as a player how annoying is it to nearly kill someone and have them vanish away? Not to mention the fact that I can self health nearly every 30 sec. Also killing my opponent fast is what my role will be in structure PVP. I have other specs (posion, support, range) but this one is going to be my first spec and I think it will do very well.

Focuses largely on mantras and interrupts. With just Mantra of distraction is is possible to daze someone for 6 secs. Add in mind stab from the greatsword and it's another 3 secs. It is important to note that in gw2 an "interrupt" can be another that interrupt a skill. Daze, stun, knock-up -down -back, all these things can be "interrupts". Interrupts also put the specific ability that was interrupted on a 5 sec cd, and reset any chain skills to the first skill of the chain.

Now it might be hard to actually interrupt a skill as I haven't seen an enemy cast bar display, however, with the first skill often being set to auto-cast, I don't think it's going to be much of a problem. Also people tend to mash a button during a silence/daze, so if I follow up with a second daze shortly after the previous one is done, I think I'll have some success. Really I think this build will simply piss people off, which is truly in the mesmer spirit!

i like this build alot, i had a very similar build but used sword torche, n added a lil more shatter things, i like ur build though, def gunna test it out

Honestly that is probably the only mesmer build i have seen that makes sense to me XD all the others make me go "um....derp derp...?"
