accidently hitting the windows key is so 90s ...
Maybe they should do that. But in the meantime you couldnt learn to just not press it?
disable it in the registry (requires reboot)
alternately, get a keyboard that has a toggle to disable it (ex. logitech g15)
easier yet, just stop fat fingering it.
get a gaming keyboard, most have switches to disable them.

For Panda!
I own a Logitech G19 that has a windows key disable switch on it. I never ever turn it on. If it annoys you that much as others have said get a gaming keyboard or take the key off the keyboard
Rip it off, throw it in the trash. Problem solved.
SteelSeries 7G have even removed the button and replaced it with a button of their own logo, which works like a Function button on a laptop. I like it.![]()

keytweak (google it) allows you to change the functions of 2 or more keys, that way you can keep the functionality of win key and get another convenient keybind in an easy to reach place
KeyTweak ftw
I have a keyboard I really like and can't find a new similar one anywhere....several of the buttons stopped working (most importantly shift) so I used KeyTweak to change my windows keys into shft keys, gotmy shift working again and as a bonus I can never accidently press the windows key
Ummm... no. The windows key is very useful for people who use the keyboard more than the mouse. I use it all of the time, mainly Windows+E (open explorer window) and Windows+R (Run...). There are simply ways to toggle it on and off. If you don't ever use it then... I suppose rip it off and throw it away is valid.
Pull it out. Unless you have an expensive keyboard, which should have a disable anyway
i've NEVER accidently hit the windows button![]()
