want to play dragon ball z budokai tenkaichi badly but it doesnt work. got bios. did ISO with imgburn. when booting it doesnt start. it says insert ps2 format disc. what do ?
also it slows terribly even in sony menu. FPS is at 30 and will drop drastically when i start any game(gran turismo 2 and god of war few months earlier), even sound lags making it unplayable.

I'm going to be playing the guessing game here and say that;
1. You didn't extract the BIOS from your own PS2 (although it's shitass easy and makes it legal to use in PCSX2)
2. You downloaded your copy of the game instead of buying it.

I fixed it to a flash drive, plugged into one of the two USB ports found on a PS2, as soon as I re-read what I had written. I edited it fast enough to not trigger the edit note - you just jumped all over my nuts because you were probably smashing the refresh button. Originally Posted by Prixie

pcsx2 is very demanding on your system, you probably need a better PC to run it.
Try the pcsx2 forums, there's a lot more information there and there are people who actually know stuff about the emulator.
