    Nuclear Reactors in Nature

I have to say, this is a groundbreaking discovery and makes you wonder what else the Earth is hiding under her crust. It also kind of speaks to the fact that what may be natural for Earth can still be very harmful to humanity.

I just covered a unit about the Oklo reactor in my Nuclear Radiation class. Was pretty interesting, but the odds of it happening were ridiculously minuscule, so the odds of there being more than one on Earth are inconceivably small.

Pretty much all life on Earth is powered by nuclear power, but not this type of nuclear power.

While the sun (and all stars) is a nuclear fusion reactor when most people see "nuclear reactor" they think of a fission reactor, which is generally held as a man made thing.
