Question about Shared Achivments

Well I want to know about shared achievements. Is it going to be all of them or only a few dungeon ones? I don't want to come back to Warcraft because a simplification of talent trees makes be sad, but if I can just pick and choose what character that would be good. I want to play and have everything shared (mounts, pets, achieves.) It just seems like the games is going towards pushing you to have multiple characters. I'm fine with that as long as my "loremaster" and "salty" titles are shared. I hate to put in the time to get something on a character that I want to put in mothballs.

As long as I can have all my now unobtainable mounts and achievements and mounts on my druid I'll be happy. Would have made my druid my main long ago if not for my pally having all of my mounts and achievements. Hopefully shared achievements will fix this

How about achievements such as Rank 1 gladiator for example. It would give others the impression you are pretty skilled at a certain class while in fact you aren't.

Well, they could (and should in my opinion) add the names of the character you achieved it with, next to the date. Maybe even with the level. With an option to hide that (if you want that)

For Example you got the Wreckingball on your 25 Rogue Roguetwentyfive. And your main ist Main85. In the Achivementbox it would look like:
Wrecking Ball:
Achieved on 7.4.2012 with Roguetwentyfive (25)

And if you achieve it on your main, the name, date and level would be added.
Wrecking Ball:
Achieved on 7.4.2012 with Roguetwentyfive (25)
Achieved on 7.4.2013 with Main85 (85)

mounts are in a later patch I think. They said something about doing mounts after they got pets to work.

Any words about the achievements part? It's not in the beta atm I believe? (not invited yet).

You people are confusing "account wide achievements" with "every toon has every achiev". Tbh we should be expecting "get rank X in every profession on any toon" achiev. Not; your pally has heroic rag achiev, now your level 1 does too.

I think I saw a comment or two during the press release coverage. I believe the comment was something along the lines of they have achievements that provide mounts working account wide and are working on ones that give titles (or maybe it was vice versa?). I was really hoping they'd go achievement by achievement. I have parts of the Salty title across 3 characters Between the 3 I have everything except Mr. Pinchy and One That Got Away. I might feel like going after those two to finish Salty if they really go account wide. Winning a tourney and fishing up coins in Dal might not make my to-do list again.

Kinda hoping to log in on the account-wide achievements' release to see an Argent Dawn tabard in my alts' mailboxes. I want to put my warrior in mothballs, but I'm really proud of that tabard and I love the design; between it and the various mounts and pets she's collected I really feel obligated to play her just so it doesn't feel like time that's gone to waste.

This was the point I wanted to make. I like feats of strength too. I want to get credit like I'm managing a team because the game makes it so I am managing a team. The new real id tag and everything. You're binding all your characters in one and you even get heirlooms and extra char slots to encourage more charters. So yes I do want a level one "heroic rag" If I kill heroic rag I want people to know this character might be level one now but I do know how to play.
