How do you tell the difference of enemy and allied AOE in WvWvW?

Like my thread name says, how do you tell the difference in allied and enemy aoe? Is there a red circle around indicating it or?

IE: Enemy Mesmer throws a Chaos Storm, how do you know if it's friendly or not

    As far as I know:

    Red Circle = Enemy
    White Cirlcle = Ally

Dance like no one is watching - Masturbate like no one else is on the bus

White means no effect to you, Red means hostile, blue means ally

That's what I heard, but I have yet to see the blue one.

That "mechanic" is quite useful, on wow it was a mess when you had to guess who aoe was from (on big bg's like AV)
