Warrior T14 - Four Set Models?

Looking at the front page of MMO and seeing the newly datamined gear, you can clearly see that Warrior T14 gear has four sets:

The released models of Paladin, Warlock, and Priest T14 showed only 3 different models:

    http://media.mmo-champion.com/images...14_warlock.jpg
    http://www.mmo-champion.com/content/...-Class-Changes

Obviously the three versions will include Raid Finder, Normal, and Heroic difficulties. What, then, could be the reason for a fourth datamined model? Options can include, but are not limited to, the following:

    • Valor set
    • Boss drop off-set
    • Blizzard beta implementation for later removal of one model
    • Heroic 10/25 distinction

Should we expect to see four models of all T14 gear sets for every class, or was this an anomaly. Questions, questions...

It's quite common I believe to add extra unobtainable coloured sets, to use as NPC armour.

They sure have no drop of inspiration left. That's obvious.

Blades on head. Blades on shoulders. Christ, almost every armor set since Vanilla looks like that.. Lovely details though.

One of them might be the non-set tanking gear.

What the Elf said. There's so many unused recolors of armor sets in place... and usually it's NPCs that end up with them.

And honestly? I wish Blizzard would just use these items already, offering them at the Darkmoon Faire or as random drops. Transmog is there for a reason...

I mean look. Green/Yellow Paladin Tier2. How awesome is that for a Sunwalker?

And how about this? Red/Silver Paladin Tier0. How awesome is that for a Blood Knight?

    But nope.avi !
These armorpieces aint available for players.

Just a few of dozens of examples of NPCs using recolors unavailable to players.

If World of Warcraft has taught me anything, it's that teaching a crowd something is far harder than teaching individuals.

And another hideous helmet that is way to clunky to be actually worn... well the detail is amazing though, the texture work is quite something .

I'm not going to make any calls until I see it on an Orc and full 3D view. looks like a lot of details are being "flattened" with the head on

Every tier set is the worst set ever to someone.

    type one = LFR
type two = 397 normal mode
type three = Valor Upgraded 403 normal mode gear
type four = 410 Heroic mode gear

the change is that valor is used to up the ilevel of normal mode gear in MoP = needs a 4th armour look.

only a guess but makes sence to me.
ilevels ofc wrong but just to give an example

Well if you insist, I find Tier13 bland and unimaginative. The colors blend into eachother too much to form just one blob of colorful messiness.

Tier 6 is a Six Set Models. Knew that?

As mentioned before, there arent any conspiracy of them having an actual 4th set of gear. Or having spec-based looks.
It really boils down to them making 4+ sets for EVERY tier sets they ever created, and then picking the "best" in "their" opinions. and keeping the rest unused / npc armor.

Recently Blizz stated that there will be a preview of current raid gear in the charcater screen. (or something like that) I wonder if one of those sets is for that.
