Did they ever develop this mob?

So I've been gone a bit from WoW and I was curious if they ever made new appearances for a certain npc that would show up in some quests back in the old world (from a portal if I recall correctly and he was dark black and demon-like). It never really had a name but was invulnerable and theoretically could one shot anyone. I remember the text from him would indicate that even Illidan and other powerful creatures feared him. I've been trying to find info on the being to look it up but I do not seem to be getting anywhere.

He was used in the Hunter quest line for Rhok'delar, Longbow of the Ancient Keepers, and he got summoned when you went into combat with http://www.wowhead.com/npc=14527, if I recall correctly.
I don't think she spawns anymore, so the demon is probably removed from the game, too.

They were removed when Cata (or even WotLK?) came out. I think there was also one of those models used in the priest quest for Benediction/Anathema in stratholme, no?

Yeah that's him. If they took him/her out that's a real shame.
