how many people would kill for that game to be made!

its such a shame games like that get axed yet starwars kinect still happen what is wrong with the gaming world?

if there was a kickstarter to get this game going i would put my money on it getting the funding it needed!

also BFME 3 thats another game that needs to be brought to life so many bad games are being churned out and even the good ones deep down have stupid flaws im getting a serious case of the gamer blues.

On the christmas sales i got battlefront 2 for the pc for like £1, i loved it when i had it on the ps2 and i just wish there was more people playing the multiplayer.

I don't know why they don't make a 3rd.

I would kill if they made a third. As games, the first and second ones aren't very good, but DAMN they're fun. Played the hell out of the first one and bought the second last december when it was on sale for like 3 bucks (didn't even know they made a second one, I'm bad at this whole knowing about game thing) and sank 20+ hours into it.

If they did make a kickstarter for it (would be damn hard since they would have to get the license from Lucas at some point) I would fund the hell outta the game.

BF3 would never happen....just the cost of getting an IP would take up all of the original funding + a bit more not to mention doubt george lucas would "discount" it to a small dev team

It's a shame really, I thought the second game was very fun in its day. I can almost imagine something like Battlefield 3 with a Star Wars theme and my head comes close to exploding.

Number 1 and 2 were amazingly fun, so (as long as they stayed with their design philosophy) then of course! I am surprised that they haven't already. (It'd be far more fun than many other starwars games that have been coming out)

I would definately love to see this. It could be so amazing with todays graphics + technology. I Don't see why they wouldn't make one, the first 2 sold extremely well, and hell, even the fact that its star wars pretty much means it will sell like hot cakes anyway.

There are quite a few fantastic mods for Battlefront 2 on the pc.

I've gotten a few which add battles/units/ships and hero characters from kotor as well as battlefront 1's single player levels/units/weapons. This is also including graphical updates and extra units,ships,characters,weapons and game mods for the clone wars and rebelion eras.

it was one of my all time favorite games, online on that game with todays gaming capabilities would be AMAZING it blows my mind why 3 got canceled and yet lucas arts fund trash games that should not make money! how in the name of l that is starwars did he think starwars kinect is more important than a real game!
