Did not see a current thread on this- but basically:
If you are currently subbed with a level 50 character- you get a free 30 days of game time. Also anyone currently subbed will get a free tauntaun pet.
I think this may have to do with not releasing rated warzones (which I didn't care about...) so I say this is great management on their part!
Again, if this is already posted just delete it, Culadin (since I know you stalk me!)
