[Movie] Rosencrantz & Guildenstern are dead

Everytime I get asked what's my favourite movie, I reply Rosencrantz & Guildenstern are dead. 9 times out of 10 people go "huh?".

Any other fans of the film here?

    Fancy a game?

I saw it years ago and remember liking it, Gary Oldman is great in it.

It's a pretty obscure film for sure, it's based on a play that's based on a play....

I once wrote a lengthy essay arguing that the play version was ultimately predicated in nihilism. The film itself is cute. Not very popular, but very commonly used in college classrooms as an example of Post-Modernist theater. Tom Stoppard is supposedly some kind of genius, but I prefer Peter Shaffer's productions personally.
