    just checked amazon.
    17W consuming LED lamp gives light equivalent of a 75W incasc. lamp. at 60€
    with a price of 25 cent / kWh and a price of 1€ for an incasc. lamp you will break even after ~170 days of nonstop-usage.

    You can't compare to incandescent anymore. You have to compare to fluorescent since fluorescent are standard now.
