Steam version of Amnesia: The dark Descent wont launch

Been playing amnesia fine for a few days now but today and yesterday it wont start. just says it cant be launched, please try later. and it seems to be patching but its not patching. just says download suspended. tried reinstalling Amnesia and Steam, no go. Tried deleting registery.blob and verifying cache countless times. renamed Amnesia folder to Amnesia_old hoping it would create a new one. but no go anything else i can try? this is getting pretty redicilous :/

After all of the attempts you listed, I highly doubt you're going to get any help from here, contact the steam support, I'm sure they'll help you out
