School fundraising event: best weapon??

So here's the lowdown. I go to a small high school, and a few years ago our student body president stumbled upon a live action role play video on the Internet, thought it was funny, and created a fundraiser about it. Basically its just hitting each other with duct tape covered weapons, and if you get hit youre out. So now it's a big deal, and all of the cool kids and girls do it too. So what weapon would work the best?? Big 2handed sword, or maybe a sword and shield? I'm thinking no to duel wield.

Well, does using a shield to block count as getting hit, just a small sword should be best if not, or a two handed sword, depending on heavy a two handed sword would be.

Since it's only about being hit, quick, light weapons should work best, like rapiers.
