Hello, i`m from Europe but my game key was bought by a friend who lives in United States so my question is if i activated the key with my ip from europe, can i play on europe or i need the North American client? i really need help guys please.

You need an EU account to play from the EU.

It's geographically locked, but servers aren't region locked.
So you can only use an EU copy if you're in the EU, but you can play on US or EU servers.
