What is your opinion on this show. SPOILERS are allowed since the season Vengeance has been out for a while. I think this one of the best shows on television right now,if not the best ! Yes it may have some historical inaccuracies but even the producer said they're not making a documentary.

I've seen all the series and enjoyed them, but tbh it's not exactly brilliant in terms of script or acting. It's like a guilty pleasure for me; a bit like a crappy soap opera with boobs and plenty of people being stabbed in the face with swords. The first season was superior to Vengeance imo; Andy Whitfield, John Hannah, and Craig Parker (the guy who plays Glaber) were awesome and made the show what it was. Gods of the Arena was just about people being stabbed in the face, the story was pretty meh.

And if you like boobs and people being stabbed in the face (let's face it, who doesn't?) then Game of Thrones is superior in just about every way and you should definitely check it out.

The serie Spartacus is enjoyable to watch but I do not like the replacement of Andy Whitfield at all.
And yes the first season is superior to the other two seasons of the serie. The story-line / scripts are kinda boring compared to other series.
But you watch it mainly for the brutal violence in all ways and the porn.

First season was great after the first episode. The pilot was nothing but blood and boobs for an hour. Some people might call that a plus, but it was just tedious without a story to go with it. It almost felt like they filmed a half hour of story and then just filled the rest with naked chicks and CGI blood. It got much better after that though. I though Gods of the Arena was done pretty well, but they could not do much with it since it was a prequel. Any new character introduced had to either be killed or otherwise gotten rid of to explain their absence and you knew nothing bad could really happen to the characters who were in the first series. I watched the first episode of the latest season and did not think the new guy did a bad job. Never saw any of the rest of the season though. One of these days I will marathon it or something.

Just started watching Vengeance, but damn it's been a long time since Season 1 and I don't remember much.

I'm on the fence when it comes to slow motion, sometimes it's okay but then again there are moments when I feel it's too much.

Man i'm really addicted to the show...
Recently i went to the sea with my girlfriend, and in the evening i was watching this. First she saw all the naked ladies , so she was like wtf?
Now she's the one that keeps poking my arm to watch Spartacus.. lol

Love this show. Me and my buddy watch it every saturday. We usually pick fun of most the characters, like rape face(aka double stuff... should bring up some memories). Good show all around.

This show is great, sometimes the blood and gore feels exploitive, but most of the time it's very well executed. Love the style of dialogue too

I really enjoy Spartacus, the replacement for the actor that died is good, if he started off as the original you wouldn't be complaining.

All in all i like the series. However I think the show would appeal to me more without all the sex. Yes i know my history and yes i know the orgies and extra stuff happened, but that wasn't the main focal point as the show dictates. I do believe though if you do take out the sex it will make the shows about 20 mins long out of the 60. In fact i decided to Fast Foward one night threw a show and the actual show without all the T&A was only 18 mins. long.

While it was a sad reason that the writers and producers had the time to film a prequel season, I found it added to my enjoyment -- a lot more than I would have originally expected. Watching the prequel season made the most recent season a much richer experience.

My favorite show ever. Man, I can't wait for next season. My only gripe with wrath of the gods was Naevia killing Ashur. Crixus should have done it. I wanted to see that so bad.
