both, but been playing pokemon longer and fps shooter games arent really my thing, (actually CSS is the only fps shooter i play and that too with friends and for lulz...but one of my friend used map hack to shoot through walls last time i played it soo.. XD)

There aren't really comparable, but even with that, giving a game(or, well, anything) an age limit is just stupid. And the notion that the other game's playerbase is older and presumably more intelligent made Skelington laugh. Either way, Pokemon is the superior title. By far.

You and your friends need to understand the meaning of opinion, and accept that there are some things that you and him can't find the same liking.

Like some have said: the games themselves are radically different.

Why is this even a question? They can't be compared. It comes down to personal taste, and mine would be Pokemon.

Also, the notion that Pokemon is for kids is ridiculous at best.
