the heroics that came out with cata release are pretty much the toughest ones in the game atm, since only the true newbs do them. everyone else buys gear from ah and skips to HoT heroics (which you should do)

I can second this statement. Even in 406 iLevel when I queue to heal these heroics I sometimes find them hard. Granted the only reason I queued was out of sheer boredom and I wasn't trying very hard, but the qualify of the groups that I got was so terrible that nearly ~100 iLevels higher I still had to try hard to heal at times.

If you have bad gear, the LAST thing you want to do is bring attention to yourself. Don't talk, don't afk, don't do ANYTHING except YOUR JOB. If you so much as say "hi", people will vote kick you.
