Upgrading my computer with a strict budget

Greetings everyone! I am interested in upgrading my computer's GPU and PSU with a strict budget. I am not looking to top charts with a monster of a computer but one that will offer me an enjoyable gaming experience for recent titles, namely Guild Wars 2 and Diablo 3. I have begun to do my own research and have been wondering if the purchases are even worth the money. I do not want to just be barely able to play the games; hopefully about 30+ FPS consistently, of course the higher the better. Keep in mind I am only willing to spend maximum about $200 (hopefully less).

I could use some assistance in regards to deciding if the components are able to handle running the games mentioned above or not. If they are not, could you perhaps point me into the right direction of where to go? Thanks!

I know you guys are very knowledgeable with computers so any help is much appreciated. Thank you!

Edit: My current computer: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/d...t=5030475#N161 It is nothing special because I haven't played video games for the past 2 years or so so this has been used solely for school, work and social media. Also my screen resolution is 1920 x1080

What GPU and PSU do you already have?

You could get the 550ti card with the psu but i personally woyld be looking at something like a 6850 which would for give a nice boost over both the cards you posted and are currentley a nice bang per buck buy imo. http://www.bestbuy.ca/en-CA/product/...8c35af102ben02

Think he needs both a PSU and a GPU for $200. Linking your current system would be a plus, you might not need a new PSU to run an updated card, and if you could spend the entire budget on the GPU, you'd get a better performance increase.

Maybe would be a good idea to list all your components as there may be a better upgrade to be had elsewhere.

I think the best you can do if you're not willing to rely on MIR is this:

Part list permalink / Part price breakdown by merchant / Benchmarks

Video Card: PowerColor Radeon HD 6870 1GB Video Card ($159.83 @ DirectCanada)
Power Supply: Enermax 550W ATX12V Power Supply ($48.88 @ Canada Computers)
    Total: $208.71
(Prices include shipping and discounts when available.)

Well this is the most (performance) you can get for your ~$200 but like others have mentioned you might wanna let us know what the rest of your system looks like.

This is my current computer system: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/d...t=5030475#N161

It is nothing special because I haven't played video games for the past 2 years or so so this has been used solely for school work and social media. Thank you for all the suggestions so far they are great!
