Question 1) Do you have the ports and they don't work? Or you just don't want to use them because they're a little old...?
Question 2) Are you looking for a Sound Card or a USB plate/card?

i have them, im assuming they work but for example for the usb port to mb it has VCC, USB 1 +, USB -, GND, and SHIELD, im used to it just saying USB idk if this is still compatible or not, also my 1394 cable has a bunch of single cables branching off. is Azalia the same thing as HD Audio?

Those are the individual pin labels on the mobo right? (Most likely down along the bottom of the board?)

On the cable? you mean to plug the USB port plate into the motherboard (inside the case) ?

Oh yeah that should still be compatible with any new board you buy now.
