and have been at the login screen for 8+ hours.

I was in the Diablo 3 open beta weekend and I have to say, Blizzard are miles ahead of ArenaNet when it comes to opening up their servers to the public. I was able to get a good few games in!

I'm sure GW2's a great game and all etc etc etc but come the 2nd day, it's exactly the same shit as day 1

I had the exact opposite experience.

I was only able to play Diablo III for ¬2 hours last weekend. Guild Wars 2 however, while laggy, was much more accessible.

Played 24 hours total my first beta event in GW, which was before the current one. Played this beta event for 12 hours total, before the servers were brought down 50 minutes ago. Tried to log in in D3 beta for hours, managed to play 2-3 hours at most.
