And furthermore, modern soldiers have big ceramic plates that protect their torso from bullets (Most other stuff can't stand up to rifle fire).

Ever lifted ceramic flooring tiles? Stuff is heavy.

I believe the average soldier has somewhere around 70...something, I can't remember the unit it was in, compared to 30 for a full set of plate armor. (That was excluding weaponry, but including the soldiers backpack. Depending on the soldier, it may be more or less. Weapons, for both, are a bit of a variable, but I do believe most modern assault rifles are a bit more than something like a sword or ax.)

Not so much anything crazy or different, but if it was really cold all the time (I love cold weather, and am in California -.-") so what I normally wear, but with my favorite jacket, which is brown leather with a soft grey hoodie underneath, it's sooooo comfy.
