Seems legit.
I remember Puremallace finding files for the 'Dream Hive' on the PTS a while back.
Both sound like Life based instances.
I see achievements for 8 bosses/minibosses. If it's that large then I don't think it will be a T2 raid since those loot tables are already very full. More likely the 10m progression raid that smaller guilds have been clamoring for, which will be good.
grrrr not sure. Dream Hive image I had did not have a maze in it. Rift 10 mans piss me off because they are hard as hell to find lol. I KNOWWWW it has to be Silverwood just because of the Lore figures mentioned. Something tells me around that hedge maze near Realm of the Fae, but I cannot find the entrance.

Not sure if it would be in Silverwood. Quite possibly in that Primeval Forest area that was on the map that came with the physical copy of Rift that is shut off at the moment. That would be my guess as to where this Primeval Feast is located. And quite possibly the Dream Hive you mentioned, which could be a new 5-man that would open up with that new zone. Of course, I am just pulling that out of my butt at the moment.
I just have a strange feeling it will be in droughtlands![]()

Wasn't that forest the Planetouched wilds? If so, it's the same location that would show up on the Telaran Weathermaps during the Rift tv ads: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jbb2t2iyzz0
Planetouched Wilds to me is the size of Ember Isle because I have run across the thing. I am just unsure that I could realistically see them releasing it possible in June. I think 1.9 will have nameplates, new 10man that is tier 3, maybe finally master mode DSM, Infernal Dawn chronicle maybe
Oh, I doubt PTW will be included in 1.9, but I'm pretty sure that the map that came with the game included Planetouched Wilds clearly labeled, and that same map was the one they ended up using for the weather forecast ads.
...small correction, at one point in time it was also called Cliffside Vale, though I don't know the timeline on that.
Any news on 10 man raid?
I really hope that 1.9 has PTW. I could see them releasing it pretty soon since it has been in development since about the same time as EI, and EI was released almost 6 months ago. And the thing is, we really haven't had much new content at all besides ID since 1.6 came out in November. Hopefully 1.9 isnt just another chronicle/MM because almost everyone is fully geared from the previous raids/mms and it is pretty pointless adding them in since 70% of the population already has better gear than they drop. New expert dungeons and chronicles should be saved up and added when some kind of level cap increase or something is added so everyone actually has a point to run these. I just find it kind of silly that they would release dungeons of the same tear of a year ago.
I can almost guarantee it won't be 1.9. 1.10 looks to be the patch right now. If it was 1.9 it would have gone on the PTS this week. Now granted they may still add it thurs or friday (they often do drop pts patches before the weekend). Why would it have to be this week? Well Ember Island was on the PTS almost immediately when the previous patch went live, because a new zone requires ALOT of testing time. But I've heard a couple of interesting things about PTW. One is that was originally meant to be a EI like zone but due to request for objective based open world pvp, it is being reworked as a open world pvp zone. While that sounds awesome I don't really buy it. I do however buy that the original concept for the zone has changed, cause PTW was actually in design before Ember Isle was. A shift in design direction is about the only thing that could explain the long long wait.
I've heard from a couple devs that 1.9 is gonna be a big pvp patch. What that means I have no idea but I believe it is the "non faction based" pvp they spoke about in the 2012 video. Beyond that we have trapping, IA expansion, Mentoring, and new 10 man. So this is already shaping up to be a huge patch, even without the new zone. I do think its gonna be 1.10 though. I mean thats a big milestone, I bet 1.10 is gonna be something big and a new zone sounds like just the thing. I've also heard MMDSM may finally see the light of day in this patch (hope so).

I believe that Mentoring is coming in an expansion. On that video with all the whiteboards, it is listed under XP1, expansion one.

Nope you misread it. Those were xpac milestones. MS1, MS2 etc. (This is internal dev jargon for progress milestones on the expansion, they probably have internal progression points they want to hit to meet whatever their intended launch is, from the whiteboard it doesn't look like it will be this year, beta maybe tho.) But they were unrelated to the content for the various patch. And although Mentoring was listed as 1.9, that doesn't necessarily mean it will come in 1.9 if its not ready, but I've heard its already being tested internally so I wouldn't be suprised to see it on the PTS in the next week or so. Besides don't you remember that Scott Hartsman already said it was coming soon in the SOG address? I think we have seen most everything he talked about except mentoring and the pvp changes, but I'd have to check the post.
Still its highly highly unlikely they would have 1.9 without mentoring cause they already let it slip that IA's for lowbies is coming om 1.9. Why would you waste all that time or manpower on something that a very small portion of the playerbase would use unless you had a mechanic (mentoring) that made it usable and useful to all players.
