Hellfire Penn... Whoever thought a huge red barren wasteland would be fun for the first 3 levels of BC is insane...

Vashj'ir and Twilight Highlands, underwater zone is a pain in the ass, the massive amount of phasing in twilight highlands is VERY annoying.

All of Kalimdor really. Every time i tried to level a toon as soon as possible i would take them over to EK. Seemed to me everything was just to spread out and even on the whole continent. Also story line EK just seemed to flow a bit better till you had to go over to Kalimdor.

    Everything in outlands.

I remember, pre cata, getting to 58 and wanting to get there straight away. Now post Cata, I wait till about 61 to go over. Blizz did a great job of revamping 1-60, but soon as I enter Outlands, I lose the will to live

Worst: Dragonblight (WotLK): so huge, so not interesting, such a missed opportunity with the Nerubians to boot.

Ulduar (Cata): The first time it is kind of neat and interesting. Every time after that? Hitting escape after nearly every quest for cutscenes. Yuck
Winterspring (Old Vanilla): Once again things are so spread out, there's very few clusters of zone, terrible respawn rates and a number of quests are part of long chains from other zones
Blade's Edge Mountains: This zone takes far too long to ramp up and was incredibly tedious to travel through back when flight was not available before 68/70.
Azshara (Cata Revamped Old World): There is such a thing as doing too much. Not only railroaded in the same quest line every time, but using normal progression without heirlooms I had already leveled out of the zone when I reached the big port city -- and I had not even done 1/3 of the quests. What a waste.
Ulduar? I think you mean Uldum.

It's a tough choice between Deepholm and Uldum. Deepholm is horrible because I've been forced to do most of it on pretty much every toon for the shoulder enchants from Therazane, and Uldum because of the insane amount of cutscenes they stuffed into it.

These are what I think based upon leveling during current content for my particular toons......IMO:

Vanilla: Felwood (b/c of how much running with only one flight path there)
TBC: Blades Edge (back when you couldn't fly until level 70)
Wrath: Zul'Drak (couldn't stand this zone)
    Cata: Twilight Highlands

Barrens, Wetlands, Desolace, Hellfire Peninsula and Blade's Edge. Hate them all.

    Silithus is the most.

It's so hated, no one even brings it up because we all forgot it exists.

Silithus probably if it wasn't for the rich lore behind it. When I walk in there or think of that zone I just feel the emptiness of the epic battles that took place there.

My pick would either be Terrokar Forest or Zul'Drak.

Boring Tundra by a mile. Totally underwhelming for a starter zone in Wrath. Thankfully we had Howling Fjord.

I've considered all the zones in game (all Classic zones pre-Cata) and here is a list of the zones I dislike the most (in no specific order):
    - Deepholme
    - Silithus
    - Zul'drak
    - Darkshore (pre Cata murlock quest especially)
    - Deadwind Pass
    - Blasted Lands
    - Wetlands
    - Borean Tundra
    - Hellfire Peninsulla
    - Zangarmarsh
    - Wintergrasp
    - Westfall

And no, Feralas, Aszhara, Felwood and Desolace didn't make it. I actually enjoyed leveling and farming in these zones on my different characters in Classic and Tbc.

Zul Drak i hate that place....

silithus blades edge and feralas for me.

    Least favorite:

    Vanilla:
Tirisfal Glades(I like the Forsaken, but I cannot level any character there)

    BC:
Blade's Edge Mountain(Don't like it at all. I usually like the desert feelings of zones, but this zone just sucks)

    Wrath:
Borean Tundra(I don't HATE this zone, but the quests are kind of horrendous)

    Cataclysm:
    Still Tirisfal Glades(Still sucks)

    Favorite:

    Vanilla:
Silithus(I love the desert feeling and I really like Silithid and Qiraji lore )

    Outland:
Terokkar Forest(My favorite zone ever. Love the music, the looks, some quests are a bit grindy, but my favorite sub-zone in the game is Auchindoun... Oh and I like the Arakkoa )

    Wrath:
Icecrown(Looks amazing, feels amazing, great music, and loving the Scourge roaming the area, but some quests are boring, but the reasons I mentioned before is what makes it really great )

    Cataclysm:
I liked a lot, but most notably Un'Goro Crater, Tenaris, both Plaguelands, both Barrens, both Stranglethorns and Dustwallow Marsh
