I had downgraded the PSU from professional to enthusiast due to the fact that with recent newegg sales, i can save about 70 bucks. Shoul still be good for SLI down the line right?

I plan on adding another GPU in the future, and I read that the i5 can cause microstuttering with dual GPUs because of 8/8 lanes, any truth to that?

At any rate I hope to purchase most of the parts in the next week(at least the parts on sale), and grab the gtx 680 whenever newegg stocks some more. Planning on getting the factory OC gigabyte with the 3 big fans, which increases the price by about 25 bucks.

Looks good. I would drop the Mobo down to something in the $140-160 price range.

I would say upgrade to an 850W PSU just to give yourself room in the future.

If i were you i would get a modular power supply, but thats me, also i personally think the NH D14 is big and bulky an H80 or H100 is less bulky and cools good!

I really don't want to spend more than 2200 here. That's my hard cap

I would go with Corsair's HX750 power supply over the one you have selected, simply because the HX750 is modular and the one you listed isn't. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817139010

I would also change your RAM out for this set: http://us.ncix.com/products/?sku=606...d&promoid=1058

    Everything else looks good!

Is modular really worth 2x the price? newegg has it on sale for 70 bucks, the professional series modular one is 140. Plus apparently the case I have selected has some kind of wire management for PSUs I read

I'd change the RAM to a low profile kit like the one linked above (Mushkin Blackline).

Change the PSU to a 850W model (Corsair HX/AX, seasonic) for SLI.

Personally I would pick what i feel is a better quality case like a Corsair 500R or 650DW, you really don't need a full size tower.

    The rest looks good.

I thought 750w is sufficient to run two gtx 680s. Read that in a couple places that's the case, because they needs 12v@53 amps and the one i have selected has 62 I believe.

I thought about a mid tower case, but would the noctua nhd14 fit nicely in one? I would go with the Haf XM, a shrunk version of the Haf X. I read a lot of good reviews about the Haf X being the best case for airflow so I went with that one.

Yeah it will fill just fine.

I believe 750W will work and you'll probably be fine but if you start overclocking the GPU's and CPU I would go for a 800-850W PSU. With your budget the extra $ for the extra headroom is worth it, in my opinion anyways.

Yeah I agree but that $90($70 after rebate) PSU is so tempting. Seems like a good deal considering the normal price of it
