Diablo is like, the LoZ: OoT for the pc. It's just a must play game

I tried playing diablo 15 years ago, couldn't make it past level2 or something because of the some boss-like monster, "butcher" was it?
So I gave up in frustration. Never played diablo2 after that and sort of on the fence about d3

I never played Diablo 1 or 2, but i had plenty of friends who were freaks on it, and i remember them hanging out in cities where other people were. Is there really no central hub in diablo 3 where you can stand around and show off your gear?

The only people in town are NPCs, and possibly the 3 other people that you're partied with (if you're in a party).

There isn't really anthing thing you need to know. Other than... HACK N SLASH! It's all about killing loads of mobs, with insane spells, and getting gear.
