    Introverted; ISTJ
I just hate how society is mostly extroverted and 'looks down' on introverts.
"You need to get involved in the community."
I lock myself in a mental box and i'm fine. I don't completely cut myself off from the outdoors/community, but I do limit myself.
    Besides, I HAVE THE INTERNET!!!!!!

I consider myself overall introverted. That being said, I have a girlfriend whom I never tire of communicating or hanging out with. I don't find myself feeling awkward in general conversation with people I don't know very well or at all. I do find it somewhat difficult to make friends, or initiate conversation with people I don't know that well.

I would say I'm somewhere near the middle with mildly introverted tendencies. I voted introvert.

I truly don't understand my the K-12 curriculum teaches basic human psychology at an early age. Imagine if we all began learning human psychology in 3rd grade. There would be less bullying, more openness, and a general increase in ones welfare among others.

I doubt 10 year olds would understand the depths of psychology. Most highschoolers don't.

Besides, kids ARE taught psychology at the most basic level right from the start. Wrong vs right, morality, stuff like that.
Why am I back here, I don't even play these games anymore

The problem with the internet is parallel to its greatest achievement: it has given the little man an outlet where he can be heard. Most of the time however, the little man is a little man because he is not worth hearing.

I honestly don't know what I am at this point. I was an extrovert as a kid, an introvert as a teenager, and now I'm alternating between the two randomly. Curiously, playing music or doing something out of the ordinary immediately brings out the extroversion.

I'm an INTP being a high introvert. I keep to myself for the most part and don't talk to people but I can if I need to, I work in retail afterall

If you're referring to my post, which I assume you are, the beauty of being on an internet forum is that I simply don't have to listen / care / whatever. If I don't want to see the 96th post of the day about someone's various girl problems, I can simply ignore the link. When I am in-person, I am morally obligated to be polite and care about whatever they're saying. The same cannot be said when I'm online (which isn't saying I insult them or anything, I just tune out or ignore them altogether).

Yeah, I think alot of shy people think they might be introverted, when infact they're not.

    INTJ here.

It's funny, I found out years ago I was an INTJ, and I just took another couple different tests to see if that's changed, since I think I've changed in the past year. Both tests had a question about valuing understanding theories, honestly a couple years ago I didn't much value full understanding of scientific theories, in the past year or so I really have. I've done a lot of research into evolution and read up on some of the basic theories of physics (string theory, and a lot of the basic information about Einstein's special relativity and particle physics and such)

    Nope, still INTJ.

I think most MMO gamers are introverted. Socializing on the internet is a bit different from socializing in real life. I can disconnect from the net at will, I can't walk out of a room in real life at will without offending someone.

Edit: I'm shy and an introvert. The two are mutually exclusive, to an extent, but I think I'm partly shy mostly because I hate people. I'm prone to panic attacks in large crowded areas that I'm unfamiliar with, though. The biggest problem is my confidence. Deep down I think I'm a pretty cool person to know, but on the surface in front of people I have a hard time expressing that.

I'm not sure, I'm shy so I appear introverted, however I think I'm just very 50/50 for that. Every time I take those stupid tests I get various different results for every letter, so I don't find them useful at all.

I disagree. My stepmother is very outgoing and very adept at talking, but claims that she's very nervous about doing so. I don't understand it myself, considering I'm not a social person, but...

Extremely introverted to the point of disorder.

Relative to me, most people on this board are probably extroverted.

Not on mmo-champ, true, simply because the community is far too huge. Have you ever been part of a tighter-knit online community? It's like comparing the inter-human relationships of a metropolis to a suburban town of only a few neighborhoods.

Back to the topic, I am slightly shocked towards the huge bias in the poll o_O

That is because IntJ represents the social outcasts as well as those who feel society itself is such a mess that it is not worth the time to deal with.
Mmo's are perfect for such people to Detach themselves from reality for extended periods of time.

Wow, when I voted I never expected the odds to be so much in my favour. Anyway, introverted.

I like talking with lots of people, but I recharge either by myself or with very close friends.

I wish I was more of an extrovert, but my instinct has always been introversion and when I did go through a period of being extroverted it was a bit of an act that broke in the end. Still, some extroverts can be pretty annoying, not charming and endearing in the way an attention seeking cat acts in spite of what they think, so at least I'm not that I suppose.
