GTX 690 Released

That's right. For some bizzare reason EVGA and Nvidia have gone ahead and ALREADY made a successor to the GTX 680. Here it is first hand on Newegg.

No specific benchmarks or specs have been explained yet, but it's a 4gig (yes 4) GPU with 3072 cores... Yes 3,072. That's...incomprehensibly fast.


All that power aside, it seems weird to me that they'd release such a powerful card when they were still in the middle of making such a wake on the GPU market with their already overkill-power GTX680.
