You guys talking about NDA and Beta invites is making my thirst grow stronger. It's almost the end of the month...Although until PAX East ends I don't expect any invites to go out. (I wonder if PAX already happened?) I'd say from March 23+ would be considered the end of March sooooooo.
Counting them days@@
In WoW i didnt really care for most Achievements, but i really could see them work in ESO, since youre supposed to explore the world anyway.
Testing: Will probably be toooooo big.
"The only persistent on-screen items are a crosshair, a minimap, and a small quest tracker"
HMM. SOUNDS LIKE AIMING TO ME.
I guess TESO will be getting some of my money.
"As in any of the post-Morrowind TES games, you swing your weapon (or fire your bow or staff) with the left mouse button and block with the right."
MMM. 1:1 combat actions...
Better and better.

most interesting thing i got from that was the new game plus. My question is what will the quests be like for someone not of the native faction and will different factions be able to see each other? im guessing they are gonna be using a ton of phasing tech for this game. Might be that all new game plus toons get phased to their own replica zone so u cant see the lower levels and then it may phase out the different factions from each zone.
Seems interesting, wonder what other ppl think about this.

Those articles are really interesting. I cant wait to finally play it![]()
Yeah, in the article they linked twice they talk about the UI being limited to like minimap and cross hair ect. Cross hair strongly implies that this is going to be an ARPG with aiming like Tera.
And while I probably won't get into the beta right away... The amount of info that leaks from a triple A mmo beta is extreme.
I like info.

Another preview. Sounds like it has some good ideas, im also pleased to see that you can eventually visit the entire map on a single character (not been keeping up with this thread too much so dont know when this got announced). Im not sure if its enough for me to play it though, i finished playing wow a few months ago and havent had any urge to go back, im not sure if this is different enough to get me excited about mmos again.
Okay guys, we can lower our pitchforks a bit.You can play through every zone on a single character, regardless of faction. There’s a reason why few MMOs bother with three factions nowadays – it’s a vast amount of content to create, particularly when you’re only likely to see a third of it. TESO’s solution is clever. You’ll level from 1-50 and do your personal story with your chosen faction, then when you’re finished you can pick a second faction to play through in what amounts to a new game plus. Zones and encounters are buffed to 50 and loot updated accordingly. Then, when you finish that you’ll be able to play through the final faction in an even tougher mode. You’ll still only be able to group and socialise with members of your own faction, but it means you don’t have to pick what race you play based solely on what zones you want to adventure in. Your Breton will get to wander around Skyrim.

The problem with the internet is parallel to its greatest achievement: it has given the little man an outlet where he can be heard. Most of the time however, the little man is a little man because he is not worth hearing.
Here's some impressions from the game.

Another plus to this, when they make a new chunk of solo content (expansion) it will count three times over since people will be able to play through each factions chunk of content.
Much easier for them to justify solo content when 100% of their players have access to it.

The only bad part is that they're being pretty clear that factions won't be able to cross into each other's territory, meaning no world PvP. But still, this is a step in the right direction.
