running with both mouse buttons scratches all things where you need a target reticle (like aoe targeting, clicking on enemies, etc.), so it you need to sacrifice other important imput

Oh, and the mechanical keyboards are a lot durable than normal keyboards (up to ten times) so it is not that much more expensive in the end.

Damn, after looking up those keyboards I really want to get one of the Cherry MX Brown switch keyboards.
You will not hate yourself in the morning for getting the Cherry. I switched to brown after using blue for a bit because blue got annoying.

As far as needing anything for GW2, dont go out buying new stuff thinking you need it, the game is very simple as far as binds are concerned. Youll do just as well using a 10 dollar keyboard.

Mine works. Do you have the software? and if so, which version?

The new Logitech software that covers all their products tends to be a bit buggy, so I recommend the old G13 specific software "lgps306"
    ftp://ftp.logitech.com/pub/techsupport/gaming/

Also, if you have the current software and you're wanting to downgrade, you're in for a shit few hours...

Reading up on the thread from the release of latest version (8.2) someone said "Yeah, so far so good. G13 and G930 Works together now", which was the problem I was having.

It depends on the type of switch you use to. For me, I use the Cherry's Brown switch so the keyboard is also good for typing too, although not as good as the Cherry's Blue switch.

Well, I played Starcraft 2 too and my old keyboard is the Natural Ergonomic 4000 by Microsoft, which make playing SC2 really really hard with the split keyboard. Using the mechanical keyboard works a lot better and I think SC2 is like typing with a very fast speed to so that's why many people get the mechanical keyboard for it.

I found GW2 to be pretty newbie AND hardcore friendly. Reason for this is simply the game design itself -- you can be useful escorting Dolyak's or just being part of the huge mob picking others up. Something for everyone!

I agree, Guild Wars 2 has a lot to offer. Looking forward to playing it very soon.

I don't think I could ever get used to those gamepads. The Razer Naga pretty much makes them obsolete for me (me personally) anyway so I probably will never try. What I love about this game? I won't have 100 keybindings to memorize.

I don't even know what your saying, elaborate please.
Your trying to say gw2 is bad because you pay too much for your keyboard?

I think people that invest in these types of products play alot more than wow or gw2. You are right though, GW2 keybinding is very simplistic and at most youll have what, maybe 15-20 keybinds if you bind absolutely anything and everything? I know myself I have 17 on the beta.
