I know how much you love to call everyone a fanboi, so... lets break it down.

    http://www.film.com/movies/from-fanb...f-the-obsessed

"Since the term fanboy became less of a slur and more of a new subculture of its own, the term fanboi has evolved. Now it differentiates someone who is simply a lover of the media in question from someone who is truly, deeply and very pathetically obsessed with it. Regardless of the attempts at ownership, the term fanbois still carries a bit of its original negative connotation and it is not recommended to refer to someone as one unless you feel comfortable with doing so. It is recommended that you distance yourself from any real fanbois and that you contact the authorities to handle any dangerous situations that might arise with one – like an argument over which superhero would win in a fight, or worse, which Enterprise captain was the best."

According to what I just saw... 1200 posts by Kevyne in the forum World of Warcraft » General Discussions. 1200. You only joined mmo-champ at the beginning of the year. You must really love WOW! The funniest part is... in half the posts, you claim that EQ2 is a better game! I think you're a little confused about what you want. It's ok. I recommend a little time away from Wow. What do you think?

quite honestly, without seeing their data collection methodology, I don't believe it.....now if they say 60% of level 85 toons that are active have done it, maybe so, but that could represent a vastly smaller pool of players. I just don't see a viable methodology that can let them say anything about player %'s. The high-alt number player may have a very high bias to do lfr on many toons.

On the other hand, what else do you DO at level 85 now if you are a LFD user? I guess LFR is the next logical step.

first thing what came in my mind was "lets write in a letter size of 24 so my article looks long" but yea looks like a standard 'QQ everythin was better back then'-post ... just outside a forum

You should not make fun of their low post frequency. Just because you have done 101 posts since this last monday is no reason to brag. We all know that if you kept that run rate up from jan 1 to may 12th, you would be at approximately 3700!

I think you misunderstood me sir, I only wished to point out that 1200 posts in a wow forum is ALOT of posts for someone who hates Blizz and calls everyone a fanboi to discredit them. What do you think?

I do like your math though

1200 are quotes that Blizzard can't remove unless removing other player posts (which is good, it verifies I was there, and can still link to them).

It's not hard to rack up posts in forums, Fins, not hard at all...and without cut+paste gibberish, either.

I wasn't talking about wow forums, I was talking about the mmo-champ forums.

You post again and again here, over and over, complaint after complaint, and never once have I read a positive thought about wow, the game you play, and obviously love.

I get that its not hard for you to post, just that its hard for you to process your feelings about wow!

Dude, don't ad-hominem the guy. Counter his points... not his history or his personal character.

And seriously, stop stalking him. It seems like you made it a mission that every post he makes you deliberately try to troll his posts. It's transparent, and rather annoying...

And most of the posts you write are just insults to him instead of anything that involves rational discussion or debate. This very post above indicates this.

You were, because that's how many remaining copies of my posts exist at Blizzard's forums.

Your 104 posts are almost exclusively addressed to me, and that is forum stalking, especially when every post is some insult -- and without any moderation despite being reported (including emailing a moderator directly who's online and can moderate this forum).

Yeah, here's an example of HIS posts:
"Loving watching fanbois defending their God."
"That's much more reliable information than sheer opinions and fanboi "pie-in-the-sky" ideas."
"They're fanbois by a different name."

So I'm over trying to talk to him rationally. And by the way you failed to counter my point, or even comment on it, instead saying that I insulted him only when I was pointing out that he insults everything. Everything that is except EQ2 for some weird reason. I'm very curious, how do feel about him calling people a fanboi, even though he cannot stop posting all day in these wow forums? Aren't you a little curious?

The debate we started on was whether or not subs would go down. He said they would. I linked evidence they wouldn't. He began to insult me and others and call them and I names, and then even after the q1 report he came back to 'troll' me. He even accused me of working for Bioware, and/or Blizzard. It's all on mmo-champ if you really care to see it. So if anyone's 'trolling' anyone around here its him. He's trolling the whole site tbh. So if he's out to do that, then I will just keep him honest as best I can. He knows if wow really sucked that bad he would quit, but he thinks that wow owes him because he's been playing a paladin since 1978 (that's what he told me) even though he's only actually been playing wow since the last part of wrath. Oh and he was deleted off the wow forums for being rude to Ghostcrawler which he claims is a conspiracy to shut up the player base. By far the best part is his holy paladin avatar, considering the trouble he likes to stir up. I really like him he's fun.

Actually no, take a look at your mmo-champ profile, then click on post areas, and notice... 1204 posts in wow general forums.

I usually go by the directive "if you cannot convince someone, don't try harder."
After all, it's a forum. Which means:

People got opinions. You might change them, but the bottom line is:

Any opinion is as good as yours. Except my opinions. Those are superior! :P

At this point I don't think I can convince him of anything at all. I really don't care to try. I love other opinions! I feel actually that I am a very tolerant and patient person. I think you have it confused on who won't listen to other people's opinions.

This makes it sound like if I leave this thread, there won't be any flames... but we know that's not true, and I'm not really flaming him, you have to admit its pretty mild. I have kept it within the TOC just as much as he has... actually more so. Maybe I'm causing a little drama, but that's what is going on here all day and you know it. Evidence is this thread, at 32 pages, and all doom and gloom reporting.

Oh and just to add, I told myself I wouldn't respond to his posts unless he was complaining or being rude to someone... and he just doesn't stop... go check his posts it is endless. Notice also he avoided the issue at hand again... He knows he loves wow, and he won't admit it. I promise you... if he admits that he loves wow, I will walk away. How's that? I swear it on the holy paladin bible.

You seem like a very calm and wise person. But... I do what I want. <3

You seem to think all I want is a fight. Look at these forums. What is going on here in every thread is a fight right? Fights about nothing, like which wow race you hate, or if people should have their pets out in raids. But all I want is an actual expression of his true feelings so that we can all get to know him better. It's not a fight that I want. What I've been requesting for the last day is an answer. That's all. Just a real answer. lol who am I kidding he ain't going to admit it.

It shouldn't take such promotions just to 'stop the bleeding' - hell, giving away a $60 dollar game and $40 game should have boosted subscriptions out the ass.

There's no certainty knowing why World of Warcraft is slowly declining, but it's clearly still an issue.

I too am curious how well the SoR did. From what I've seen there were a LOT of people who re-subbed for at least a month. if the numbers still didn't change drastically after a full month of SoR - then I'm curious to see what the non-SoR player subs were prior to its release.

I also firmly believe we're going to be getting the new Recruit-a-friend promotion first week of June (last month for Q2) for the EXACT same reasons SoR helped save Q1's numbers.

And I also believe we'll be seeing a very rewarding world-event in September (last month of Q3) before MoP hits Q4 next month
