What is the hype about TERA about???? It's gonna be awful.
I played the BETA and thought, "here is AION except somehow lamer". Sure the graphics are good from a purely texture/polygon count standpoint but the art is godawful and totally uninspired. It looks like every generic Korean MMO, the settings in particularly look so generic. The "writing" and "story" of course are abysmal, and while the 'action' combat can be fun, if I want an action game I can play one. Ultimately a good MMO must have a depth of strategic gameplay and a unique artistic style and voice that withstands time to succeed. This game has neither, why do people keep falling for obviously terrible MMOs who inevitably die out after the first year?
