100x This..
However I assume by the end of the year my list will look like:
1. The Hobbit - Unexpected Journey
2. The Dark Knight Rises
3. The Avengers
4. The Amazing Spider-man
5. Prometheus
6. The Dictator
7. Men In Black 3
8. 21 Jump Street
Not really sure about the last 2 but I'm sure they'll probably be filled by some random movie I'll watch out of Boredom that turns out to be alright.
Well i'm going to add Dark Shadows to the very bottom of my list for now, I can give a 99% guarantee it won't stay there but I simply haven't even seen 10 movies this year, and some of the ones I have seen would be a disgrace to even consider putting on this list. Dark Shadows is no where near good enough to be on a top 10 list, but out of the movies so far I am putting it on here because I enjoyed it decently.
yo. Cabin in the woods hands down - what an AWESOME movie!
Does the Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol and Sherlock Holmes 2 count? Those were amazing. The Avengers was nice too. Didn't really like the newest Ghost Rider tho.

hhmmm favorite films since January 1st 2012
Well here is the list of films I have seen. And ranked in order, with a Rating
1 Abraham Lincoln Vampire Slayer 8.5/10 2 The Hunger Games 9/10 3 Avengers 9/10 4 Prometheus 8/10 5 John Carter 7/10 6 Men in Black 3 5/10 7 Underworld: Awakening 6/10 8 Fullmetal Alchemist: The Sacred Star of Milos 9/10 9 Comic-Con Episode IV: A Fan's Hope 10/10 10 Iron Sky 6/10
I should point out these are the only ten 'films' that were released in 2012 that I have seen. Some of these are lucky to have made a top ten at all.
Also the ratings I give may not match the total ranking of the film, since I may like something about a film I know is not as good.
My top ten movie in year's 2012 list are here:-
1.The Avenger
2.Men in Black III
3.The Hunger Game
4.Magic Mike
5.Ted
6.Battleship
7.Prometheus
8.Brave
9.Madagascar 3
10.Snow White and the Huntsman
Spots 1 and 2 are reserved for the Hobbit and the Dark Knight Rises, with Django Unchained hopefully coming close in on the 3rd spot.
Still waters run deep.
Only saw 1 2012 movie and that was iron sky. Not really all that good, but there hasn't really been a movie this year that I found interesting enough to take a trip to the cinema for
so atm it's
1.Iron sky - 6/10
Monk, I need a monk!!!
8. Project X
7. American Reunion
6. The Grey
5. Chronicle
4. Prometheus
3. The Hunter
2. The Avengers
1. The Secret World of Arrietty
the only ones I have seen so far from this year. the list will change drastically when the independents release.
Adding Brave and re-arranging my top ten to look like this, keep in mind these are at what I have seen when the year is said and done it will look quite different, and I felt any of the top 3 have something to rightfully earn that top spot, not filling out everything yet though.
1.The Avengers
2.Brave
3.The Secret World of Arriety
4.Prometheus
5.Men in Black 3 (for the ending)
6.Chronicle
7.
8.
9.
10.
I have seen more movies, but any others I do not think have the right to be on a top 10 list, even an early one.
