    Starting New Account. Experiences!?

Hey everyone, my account way back from Vanilla got banned a few months ago when I had to cancel my credit card because it got stolen, and a few race changes got refunded by blizzard so they banned me (lame) im not to worried though im actually happy that I get to start with a clean slate.

i think im going to level a pure dps class to i dont just insta-que for dungeons and enjoy questing again i never played through the new 1-60 content and im looking forward to it.

yeah i lost alot of rare mounts gold and time but i really cant wait to get my new computer and start a brand new account, the realquestion is has anyone else simply started from scratch leaving a decorated wow account behind ( i had no choice ) did you enjoy starting fresh or did you find it tedious?

    please share some thoughts
    -thanks bd

I have always wanted to do this, but i have never grown a big enough pair to actually get rid of my account. In my opinion to truly start fresh it cannot be on an existing account, no temptation!

I'd imagine it will be an enjoyable experience! have fun with it!

Starting on a new server is almost the same as starting with a new account, as long as you don't send any BOAs across (can you even do that?)

Done that a couple of times but the novelty wears off - you just get so used to being able to send gold over and having all professions available on your main + alts.

Obviously you have no choice, so just embrace it, choose a high population server, preferably with a good mix of horde/alliance, and just enjoy it - good luck!

Good points you brought up. I've technically started fresh many times because a while ago I'd always be re-rolling new servers/classes etc.

IMO do not roll on a high population server. From personal experience, the best times I've had in WoW were on low-med pop servers. Granted I'm on a high pop one now mainly for PvP, looks like you just want to quest and have a good time.

After all those toons leveled up, I would die trying to hit max level without heirlooms.

Sadly, the memories will remain and it will never be as fun as it was the first time you did it
I've never had my account banned so I was never really interested in starting a new account, but If I did I would probably get bored of it pretty quickly as I've leveled 10 (almost 11) characters from 1-85 and experienced every single zone before Cata and after Cata, but in your case I think it could be pretty fun seeing as you haven't leveled through the new 1-60 content!
Good luck and hope you have fun

why? I was fine with it, granted didn't play for like 4 years, but had fun going through the revamped zones and seeing northrend

I tried it at one point just to start all over as a horde, new account and everything. The problem was I got tired of not having the resources I had before and not being able to send gold over. The worst part I think was the tedium. As someone who had played nearly every class to around level 30, it was really boring to play through the same class mechanics all over again. Just my opinion though, Good Luck!
