I'm rather reserved with my cash and rarely spend it on anything and prefer to just put work into thing instead of paying my way through them, by extent of this I doubt ill be too quick to buy extras in GW2.
However assuming I like the game as much as I think I will, I'm going to try to support it where I can, I'll go ahead and put 5 or 10 bucks into gems a month, maybe more if they keep their store really attractive. Of course if it ever goes in the direction of buy to win ill not only stop using the shop but likely turn from the game completely.

I will definitely be throwing money into the cash shop, ANet did a fantastic job and I see no reason not to further support them. They have already stated that they don't want the cash shop to have items that give unfair advantages and such so I am not worried about that, especially since the GW1 cash shop does just fine with that already.

When they support the oceanic region financially (local servers), I can guarantee that I will buy their game. Money isn't the issue for me, being fed up with 2nd class servers is. Until then, I'm not intending to.

If I bought the game, I would potentially use a cash shop if it had items that appealed to me (can't really get more specific than that without seeing/playing it).

Gonna by all the bag space I can get me wee hoarder hands on, and maybe ultimately all the char slots too.
I prob won't have as much time to farm gold so I'm happy to do it with real cash instead of gems, but maybe I'll just be happy to gradually save up gold and gems and get it that way. If my play time is limited anyway there's no point rushing in and buying everything - is the way I look at it.

    Wouldn't mind getting costumes too.

Also, by buying GW1 + eotn recently and all the skill packs I've basically thrown £100 at Anet...oh and GW2 ofc lol so about £150. I'm not adverse to throwing money at them
I'm going to cry like a little baby when Logan and Rytlock reconcile and have a glorious man-hug

IT really depends. If I'm having a easy time getting gold like I do in wow, no, I won't. If I'm not that fortunate then yes.

if i like the game, not only do i plan to buy from any cash shop they have, but i plan to buy a LOT.

the last and only other game i played that had a cash shop i basically went nuts and spent about $2000 in four months.
