    Enahancement is fun but...

I am playing enhancement atm, I have one PvE spec, and one PvP spec, I feel like enhancement is a bit underpowered in pvp, I am squichy, I don't have any good cd and my damage is absorbed by shields. I have full pvp gear, but I am using Morningstar of heroic will (normal version) in offhand, since I want high burst, and vial of shadows (lfr) instead of activation pvp trinket, so I still have my normal freedom trinket.

I have tried elemental, and I like it high crits and I don't need to stand toe-to-toe with my enemies and take so much damage, and it's easy to kite. I have always been enhancement, it's a fun spec, so I have hard o not playing it. I played resto in begining of cata and it was really, fun and it seems to still be a really good spec.

For resto I can have a spec that both works for pve and pvp, but on enhancement I can't have a pvp/pve spec, so I am wondering should I screw enhancement pvp and go resto or should I lvl up one more shaman? (I am really stuck with my shaman I have now, main char lots of achievpoints etc:P)

Should I maybe go resto pvp until I get No'kaled for enhancement?

Ok so I dont have any pvp gear if im perfectly honest, however in bgs and duels I find enhancement shamans OP. My strengths are fighting 1 on 1 battles and against others who also dont have any resi gear. I can literally 2 shot people with no resilience and in duels with how fast my maelstrom weapons stack I have some very decent healing abilities and can usually burn down a decent resi geared player before they can barely get me down half hp. That being said, I am 394 pve geared so would definitly be because of my above average gear that I can kill people so fast. I would definitly advise getting No'kaled, I think its enhancements bis for pvp.
Ive never tried them, but Ive heard that resto shamans are somewhat like gods in pvp so that may be a good idea to change to. Im guessing this is because of how they wear mail so they take less damage than druids and priests for starters, they have grounding totem to block some pesky cc or game changing spell. They have the ability to get huge distance from there ghost wolf and to top it all off, they have some of the highest heals in the game. Always nice to suddenly get a 150k crit and heal someone back to full hp .
Any to your elemental point, I have tried that before too and they are pretty good at some situations but they seem a bit lacking on classes that can close the distance such as rogues (shadowstep) and druids(feral charge) and also seem to have a lot worst short bursts than enhancement.
Anyway in answer to your question, I would definitly suggest trying resto out in pvp atleast until you get no'kaled as a good weapon can often make a difference in a fight and see how you get on with it.

Enhancement is somewhat squishier than some other classes but we are not half bad, especially not in 1v1's against decently balanced classes. The only problems I currently have with the spec is the reliance on searing totem for half-way decent burst and the total lack of a dps CD. If I were you I would probably try to get full conquest gear if you don't have that all ready because it helps a ton.

1v1 is easy if you have skills
but bg's can be a pain in the ass. we don't have strong defensive cd's.
    Shaman - DeathKnight - Druid - Monk - Hunter - Priest - Paladin

there is no much real use in being strong 1vs1 in game curently
most of our problems will be prabobly addressed in mop and until then well im personally plaing other games for pvp thrill

I wouldnt say we are that squishy, save your msw stacks for ghw. remember to pop shamanistic rage when you are focused. With wolves, rage, and saving msw for GHW or hex you can go toe to toe with just about anyone.

you can see this one of my pvp videos, the first arena match you defiantly see it taking down 2 people with one at full hp and the other at half

In terms of 3v3, what the intended balance is, Enhancement Shamans lack slightly in mobility and has a bigger problem in defensive CDs. In MoP though Blizzard has made an attempt to address these issues. Not only do we now have access to a talented Sprint/Slow and Asendance, Spirit Walk is no longer tied to our wolves. As well we have multiple Defensive CDs now as the current Beta stands.

This is of course not mentioning the variety of other goodies that will help us in PvP. (E.G. Totem Stun, other DPS CDs)
How did the proto-plankton solve the math problem?

    "Algae"-braically of course!
