Engineering or blacksmith

So I have engineering and jc on my pally right now, but I was thinking about changing engineering to blacksmith come MoP. My pally is prot/holy atm, and I plan on going prot/ret in the xpac.

What do you all think?

BS as it gives more considering you have 3 possible playstyles

Are you going for gold or for which ever benefits your class more? Either way I'd suggest BS for both!

Go with blacksmith ,the option to socket bracers and gloves should out weigh anything engineering has to offer. And you can craft armor for yourself etc.

Thanks for the input!! I'm kind of waiting til they release more info on both professions. I originally rolled engineering back when sunwell was released, since there were goggle upgrade patterns in that raid. It greatly saddens me that blizz doesn't do that anymore

from my point of view engineering is a bit kinda useless atm...u get a couple of cool stuff but comparing to other professions is nit that awesome

No. Don't. I did same on one of my chars in Cata - "yay epic crafted helm you can itemize like you want"! Which never got updated and now is way-way-way worse what new 5-men drop.

Choose BS. You won't lose this way.
