Apart from the org gate being finnally fixed org will stay the same till the end of wow

maybe a few little tweaks here and there but i feel blizz has settled on how org should look

lorewise orgrimmar will always be an impregnable horde fortress and i can never see the alliance taking it likewise stormwind will never fall to the horde

Should Orgrimmar fall permanantly, the Horde will gain a new capital somewhere else or the Alliance will lose one. There are still certain things that are "tit-for-tat" and capitals is one thing.

You can have Gnomeregan if you like. Feel free to get rid of the little short arses as well.

Tauren are also restricted from taking residence in Org due to Magatha Grimtotem's betrayal - ever since trying to make peace with the occupants of ragefire chasm she has slowly been fighting the same corruption Garrosh faced. After her defeat from horde & alliance heroes her death could not be confirmed. She may still have a spiritual influence over some tauren. The Horde council has ruled the Tauren cannot take residence in the city. However they are still members of the Horde.

By betrayal i hope you dont mean the poising and ultimate death of Cairne ? cause that would mean.. they're being punished because their own leader was killed. You cant banish and ENTIRE race because you have a few "bad" people. That would mean the enitre human race should be banished.

I waited for years to finally get rid of the crappy wood and mud huts to then go back to that trash now, no way. Orgrimmar just needs to have its cataclysm construction efforts finished so it's ALL plated in imposing looking Iron/saronite spikes and fortified with stone.

Besides it's strength and some-what more intimidating appearance - I'm certain that the core reason for the metallic construction route has been to avoid any future BURNING of the entire city; as is what happened during the Shattering.

Orgrimmar and its black metal and spikes is a reflection of the old horde that became corrupted under the legion. People think the way orgrimmar was made up in cata was advancing things, but they don't realize whats actually happened is the old horde mentality creeped back into the orcs society and it is reflected in this hidious reworked city.

It was made clear in the shattering, no longer the inviting huts of wood, bone and leather, now the buildings are constructed of black metal, just like the way hellfire citadel was in outland with the fel orcs, with dark insides some can only imagine the kind of horrors occurring inside those chambers (this was more of less what was said in the shattering).

You people think its bad ass, but you don't realize how its a reflection of a bad orc turning the orcs back into there dark selves again, which as history repeats, will shows this is not the way for the orcs to advance there society.

I miss old orgrimmar, because it felt inviting. This new design has Garrosh written all over it, and I can not wait to see the back of this crappit when I can move to pandaria.

I still find it Funny that Metzens comments at Blizzcon still have fallen on Def ears, he openly said that "Mists" is not the War, its the calm before the storm.

you got that wrong. The calm before the storm will be the events in the first chapter of pandria, where we get introduced to the pandaren and see there lands. That is the calm. The storm will come later, as they have said, each major patch will be like a new chapter in the story of pandaria.

I actually had an ingame party for a friend on the bank roof, set up a huge display of lunar firework launchers and gave her a mechanohog for her present.

Old org had happy memories. The new one is a stinking sore.

Wasn't weak, old orgrimmar stood against anything that was thrown at it until fire elementals raged though it. Stormwind is made from stone and iron, yet deathwing destroyed the park and the towers are still burning there.

So the only point of making orgrimmar look like hellfire citadel 2 was to enforce the image of Garrosh's tyrannical rule over the horde

It took them 6 years to redo Orgrimmar the first time. Even if the story demanded it (and it doesn't), there is no way they will redo it again so soon.

Yea ... it was like our alternate town square or garden. Why did they ever remove a popular landmark, it was like our hachiko.
