The Standard red/green deck is really fun, but it hinges off some really expensive cards. Flayer of the Hatebound and Rage Thrower. Undying is such a great mechanic though.

How'd that work out for them?

I wanted Voracious Dragon to be good, but devour is just a bad ability. It almost seems like it was created to make players think about what is bad and what is good. It just gets you 2 for 1'ed or higher every single time and it is not multiplayer friendly it all. The only decent devourer is Mycoloth because if it isn't killed quickly it gets out of hand.

I never get to take advantage of the fact Voracious Dragon is huge. It's all the damage he does when he comes out. Course if you prevent it, I'm fucked. Then again, casual play.

Flayer of the Hatebound Undying decks are bound to come out of the woodwork when the Titans leave. The Titans leaving makes a bunch of cards suddenly better.

I think I'm going to keep playing my Red/Black vampire deck personally. Not a lot of "new blood" in Avacyn, but it's good enough for my friendly casual play. Always fun to have the highest life total in a group game purely through Falkenrath Nobles and Lifelink.

I have a lot of tribal decks. 2 elves, 2 goblins, 2 soldiers, 1 bird, 2 zombies, 1 beast, and a few I am most likely forgetting.

I just think that the Beatles are kinda overrated. Especially their "newer" stuff. I like the older stuff a little because of the simplicity of it all. Vexing Devil is pretty beast. It is awful in Limited, but in every other format it turns into 4 damage if you have it in your opening hand every single time.

People are willing to give up the life early when they can afford it. That.......ugh...that red card that was in the foil burn deck, that lets you draw three cards or your opponent can counter it by giving up five life. I have never given up five life to that.

Zombies are a bit old

The new block has plenty, and a new style. They're black and blue. Granted, the older ones like Nefashu and zombie warchief are awesome still. I like decks that are timeless and don't get overtaken by the OP shit of today.
