Relevant to the Magic discussion. Today my dad and I found a ton of his old cards. Super old type 1 stuff from when it first came out like Mox cards and Mahamoti Djinns. So much nostalgia. Also found a few books that had descriptions of all the old tournament winner's decks.

If it's Alpha stuff, even Beta, you could probably get some good cash for em, depending on which cards.

People are willing to give up the life early when they can afford it. That.......ugh...that red card that was in the foil burn deck, that lets you draw three cards or your opponent can counter it by giving up five life. I have never given up five life to that.

The new block has plenty, and a new style. They're black and blue. Granted, the older ones like Nefashu and zombie warchief are awesome still. I like decks that are timeless and don't get overtaken by the OP shit of today.

Eh, none in the draft that I did with my friends, and we had 5 mythic rares pop up. Still, probably a fluke.

The Mythic Rares were Griselbrand, Tamiyo, Bruna, Malignus, and Bonfire of the Damned (MINE!)

Ah yeah. As far as tribes go, the recent block wasn't really new with concepts, minus the transforming werewolves, which they realized didn't work.

Browbeat is definitely a killer. The thing that most people think is that they would rather take the 4 damage once than get hit again and again by it. Turn 1, on the play, it will almost always be 4 damage. Turns 2-3 it is an amazing creature for it's cost. Turns 4 and up it is not going to be doing much, but it is a very nice creature to play anyway.

Zombies right now are pretty good, especially with Geralf's Messanger. Zombies got some help in the 2 cmc area which they greatly needed and will be just as annoying. Good thing Pillar of Flame came out to stop all of the undying going around.

DFCs were actually much better, compared to flip cards from Kamigawa, but the way the werewolves transformed was a little annoying. Actually the reason they stopped it was because of how the story moved forward. Those with Lycanthropy in their human state were cured and those in the wolven state were put in that state permanently and made loyal to the angels through their magics.

Mostly get Country and Classic Rock down here, so that's mostly what I listen to.

For the most part, I can listen to anything with a good rythm, acceptable lyrics, (that don't make me want to kick the people who wrote them, i.e. most rap songs) and works to drown out my thoughts.

And that there are close to zero good enchantments besides Angelic Destiny right now, maybe in RTR as folks are hoping for an enchantment theme. As for EDH their are two rather well known enchantment decks with Uril, the Miststalker and Zur the Enchanter. She roflstomps the both of them.
