That would have been me. I'm not strictly speaking a moderator, but go on.
You received -500 reputation for giving out around -5000 reputation over ~1600 votes along with 2 others.
Not one of those 1600 votes were positive. You aren't downvoting terrible players. It's complete nonsense.
You cannot defend that so many votes were all due to being "terrible" players.
If everyone does what you do, the site wouldn't work. You know what you did was wrong.
I can see from the reputation all of your raids were succesful, so clearly they weren't that terrible?
FYI - this is something we only do in extreme cases such as this group of three people that were structurally cheating their way to the top of the reputation list (by downvoting anyone above them over and over again). So far this has been the second time we take such action at all. At least last time they owned up to it.
I'm pretty sure indeed nearly all of the users are positive about the site. We go out of our way to provide a free service and make it a pleasant experience. I myself spent countless hours each week developing it further along with the amazing mod team, who want all the best for all users. Unfortunately, that means having to pick out the rotten apples, too.
Clearly you can downvote people, that's what the entire system is based on. Vote up who is good, vote down who is bad. But 1600 consecutive downvotes is in no universe fair, especially if all of those raids had been succesful (the average rating was "Great" of all of these raids).
If anyone has any constructive feedback on OpenRaid, such as new features they'd like to see, feel free to PM me
