Concerning Diablo III naming policy

Will the naming system be like WoW or will it be possible for me to find people with my character's name (let's say monk named Duffman) due to the new battletag system? I don't want to see a million Duffmans, because lets be honest here, we are ALL going to have a toon named mother fucking Duffman.

while there can be a million characters named duffman, i'm not going to be one of them. you can rest easy knowing that. the naming system isn't like WoW. people can be walking around with the same exact name.

I don't know if you've played SC2, but it works the same way. Oh and I don't think that's the name of the character that is displayed. I think that's the name of your battletag.

Its your battletag name unless you are speaking to a npc. then your name shows up in the dialog box. thats what i saw in the beta anyways.
