There is only two .dat files that download. So you could have someone else download it for you onto a usb then take it home and transfer the files to your hard drive and launch from there.

Haha no worries, I was away on holiday for the last beta. I am considering going on a door knock if I don't have a solution by sunday morning.

Could be an option. I used to have a 10GB usage limit before we upped it to a 60GB limit (for some reason our village has poor internet) and I asked next door if I could hop onto their wireless to download some "work for college" and I asked if their internet was unlimited just to be safe and they said sure.

I hate reading these Aussie horror stories. Slow internet, download quote's, bad pings... Its like you guys are still living in 10years ago. The idea horrifies me =(
