    Shaman ideas and new mechanic (take #2)

    General

    Shocks are mostly utility spells now and deal minimal damage. Flame Shock now increases cast time by 30% for 8 seconds. Earth Shock reduces melee and ranged attack speed by 20%.

    Unleash Elements 45 sec cd
    Focuses the elemental force imbued in the Shaman's weaponry, with the concentrated effects depending on the enchantment unleashed.
    Flametongue. Your next Fire damage ability deals additional 40% damage and increases all fire damage you deal by 20% for 6 seconds.
    Windfury. Your next nature or physical damage ability deals additional 40% damage and increases all nature damage dealt and your haste by 20% for 6 seconds.
    Earthliving. Your next single target healing spell is 40% more effective and causes your spells to cost 20% less mana for 6 seconds.
    Rockbiter. The next damaging attack that deals more than 10% of your health is reduced by 40% and causes you to take 20% less physical damage for 6 seconds.
    Frostbrand. Your next stun or immobilize effect is reflected back at the attacker and causes you to have 40% movement speed increase for 6 seconds. [skillzpvp]

    Resonance 1 min cd does not trigger the GCD
    Your next shock spell is empowered to be more potent.
    Flame shock silences for 5 seconds. Frost Shock roots for 5 seconds. Earth Shock Disarms for 5 seconds. [ Second Tier makes Frost Shock always empowered by Resonance without triggering its cd]

    Enhancement
    Mana now mimics energy through Primal Wisdom. Elemental Strike is your main ability that generate Elemental Weapon charges which is the new resource system.

    Primal Wisdom passive
    Your melee attacks have a 60% chance to immediately restore 5% of your base mana and you passively gain 5% of your base mana every 2 seconds. You may not gain mana from other sources nor are you affected by mana drain effects.

    Mental Quickness passive
    Your spell power is now equal to 55% of your attack power, and you no longer benefit from other sources of spell power.
    Your totem and shock spells cost no mana.

    Tempest passive
    Your nature damage and healing spells are cast instantly at the expense of costing 50% more mana but your melee attacks have a chance to reduce the mana cost of your next nature damage or healing spell by 20% stacking up to 5 times.

    Elemental Strike no cd 30% of base mana.
    Instantly strike your enemy with both weapons, dealing 100% weapon damage.

    Gathering Storm passive
    While feared, stunned, or immoblized you gain 1 Tempest charge every second.

    Elemental Weapon passive
    When you deal damage with your Elemental Strike, you gain the Elemental Weapon effect based on your weapon imbue accumulating up to 6 times. [Now has a new UI]
    Flame Weapon charge can be used for Lava Lash. Wind Weapon charge can be used for Wind Slash. Frost Weapon charge used for Frozen Spear. Stone Weapon charge used for Tremor.

    Glyph of the Elemental Vessel
    You may accumulate up to 8 Elemental Weapon charges instead.

    Ascendance
    ...In addition, your spells and abilities cost 50% less mana.

    Lava Lash 1 Flame Weapon charge [requires Flametongue]
    You charge your off-hand weapon with lava, instantly dealing 300% of that weapon's damage to an enemy target as fire damage.

    Wind Slash 1 Wind Weapon charge [requires Windfury]
    With violent winds you strike your target dealing 150% weapon damage and causing your target and nearby enemies to take 30% more damage from your next Nature damage spell for 8 seconds.

    Ice Spear 1 Frost Weapon charge 20 yard range [requires Frostbrand]
    Launches a spear of ice at your target enemy piercing their defenses dealing 100% weapon and shatters to deal additional x frost damage. Damage done by Ice Spear cannot be mitigated or avoided and deals additional damage based on the armor of your target.

    Tremor 1 Stone Weapon charge [requires Rockbiter]
    Shatter the earth beneath enemies around you to deal x to y nature damage. Risen pillars of stone protect you against the next 3 melee attacks completely negating them. Has a low chance of knocking down affected enemies.

    Searing Flames passive
    Your Searing, Magma totem or Fire Elemental attacks have a chance to cause your next Lava Lash within 8 seconds to cause 20% additional damage and not consume a Flame Weapon charge.

    Static Shock passive
    While having Lightning Shield active, your Wind Slash ability have a chance to deal damage equal to a Lightning Shield charge and cause your next Lightning Bolt or Chain Lightning spells within 8 seconds to cost no mana and deal a critical strike.

    Feral Spirits 10% base mana every second
    Summons two Spirit Wolves under the command of the Shaman. The Spirit Wolves also increase the potency of your nature damage and healing spells and the frequency of gaining the Gathering Storm effect by 20% . [They deal nature damage and heal the shaman for 50% of the damage done and no longer stun. This is basically a survivability cooldown with some damage compensation or as a dps cooldown when combined with Ascendance]

    The new rotation of Enhancement Shamans.
    - You want to have Windfury and Flametongue for pve dps.
    - Use Elemental Strike to generate Elemental Weapon charges.
    - Watch for Static Shock and Searing Flames procs.
    - Use your Flame Weapon charges for Lava Lash and Wind Weapon charges for Wind Slash.
    - Alternate Wind Slash and Chain Lightning for AoE. Alternate Wind Slash and Lightning Bolt for single target. Wind Slash should be weaker than Lightning Bolt regardless of Static Shock procs on single target but Lightning Bolt costs mana.
    - Use Unleash Elements as a mini dps cd possibly coupled with Static Shock and/or Searing Flames procs.

    Elemental
    Fulmination is now a separate spell named Fulminate and no longer interacts with Earth Shock.

    Fulminate 2.5 sec cast requires Lava Burst and consumes the effect
    Combines your surplus Lightning Shield charges with your Lava Burst to deal 2785 to 3547 Firestorm damage increased by 20% for each Lightning Shield charge.

    Eruption passive
    Your Lava Burst casts have a chance equal to your critical strike to cause magma to erupt from beneath your target instantly dealing 20% of the spell damage and another 30% over 3 seconds to the nearest enemy.

    Lava Burst instant no cd
    Molten lava ignites the target from beneath, dealing 1857 to 2365 Fire damage. Lava Burst will always critically strike.
    Lava Burst has a chance to be activated when you deal nature damage to enemies affected by Flame Shock or when your Flame Shock is dispelled. Limit 2 charges. [Ascendance makes it available all the time]

    Mastery: Destructive Synergy
    Your Nature damage spells have a 16% chance to deal fire damage equal to 50% of the damage done. All fire damage you deal is increased by 16%. Each additional point of Mastery increases the bonus by 2%.
