I wonder if they got this idea from GW. There are many different worlds/servers in that game, but you never can tell because they layer people. Anyway, point is, I'm a bit w/e about this feature. For me, the leveling experience is so fast, you miss so much of the story, doubling back on the crafting....people is nice, but you are in 1-50 content for what, a week?

seems like a lot of resources.....

From a technical standpoint its an interesting feature, from a gameplay value standpoint its utterly useless to me. Deserted leveling areas do one thing and that is NOT complety destroying the already shitty immersion in WoW. As for PvP, I don't give two shits, and it won't help in the slightest when it comes to bringing new players I can raid with to my realm. The biggest problem of a low pop 4A:1H realm is that you have no way of getting good raiders on it, especially when it comes to 25 people raids. Why would they fix that though, every transfere is 25-50 € for them...

If this is their solution for server merges, I'm not impressed.

They will never do server merges. That is the worst thing an MMO could do and opens the flood gates for all the WoW haters to claim the game is dying.

    That site tends to disagree.

Right now I'm completely against it.

I picked a low population server, because I wanted a low population server. This would completely defeat that purpose, and personally I think it's a dick move on blizzards part.

Make it Real ID only, and make it optional. Then I'd be completely okay with it. But right now, I'm not looking forward to an increase in people I don't give two shits about. Call me anti-social, but I prefer to play with people I know I'll have fun with and avoid ignorant randoms as much as possible.
