    I thought you couldn't LAN on D3? Anyway go with Monk/WitchDoctor/Barb seems like the best for survival

    You can all group up and play sitting side by side but still connect to the Battle.net servers. However, you can not locally host D3.

    tank barb and 2 of anything, focusing on different things; aoe damage, single target, cc/control, debuffs, ect

    I'd vote for Barb because they're awesome, monk for mantra buffs and WD for heroism every 2 minutes!!!
