Even though Ulduar is (and probably will always be) my favourite one, the most 'wow'-inducing raid would have to be AQ40, followed by Ulduar and then Blackrock Depths (even though it's not technically a raid, the fact that it's so huge just leaves me in awe).

My first raid was 15man UBRS, wasn't much of a "wow!" moment but pretty cool.

Molten Core and Onyxia was big "Woooaaaaaaaaow!" moments. Amazing big mobs and epic feeling of 40man raids.

After that, only BT gave me the same feeling, I loved Illidan so much.

Pretty much all the raids made me go 'wow' for one reason or another. Well designed visuals, great bosses, great memories... That sort of stuff.

The only raids that haven't induced that feeling would be... Trial of the Crusader (no mystery, except the last boss but that was discovered on the PTR anyway so w/e)... That's it.

Ahhhh yes, the first time I saw Ragnaros... Everybody was 80, and still they were WOOOOWWW... Doing it back at the time must have been very epic!

ulduar hands down. others come close, such as sunwell or black temple, but for me, nothing comes close to the jaw dropping grandeur which is ulduar.

p.s: i am pretty objective since i've been there since Molten Core was the ''Only'' 40 man raid around.

Molten Core was definately the first one, it was also what clearly introduced me to WoW.

Naxxramas is still the raid I hold dearest to my heart. Ofcourse I never got to experience it during Vanilla, no Horde on my realm did, but even though it was dumped down I still loved it in Wrath, the whole place is just unforgettable, it was so creepy, frightening. It was everything I expected Wotlk to be. The expansion turned out to be a mess though, but the raid still kept being awesome. It also stars Kel'thuzad as the final boss, my favorite Warcraft character of all time.

ICC did from a visual standpoint. I absolutely adore how it looked. Only fight that made me go ''WOW'' was The Lich King's though. Others were either terrible (Marrowgar, Gunship, Deathbringer), fine (Blood Council, Blood Queen, Festergut) or just good (Rotface, Putricide, Sindragosa). A really dissapointing raid encounter-wise, but from a visual standpoint it hit the nail.

Blackwing Descent, mostly because of Nefarian, but all of the other encounters were also really great, Atramedes was just amazing. Nefarian's fight was just... just my kind of fight. I love every aspect of it, there's not a single thing I dislike about. The only fight that wasn't amazing was the Golem Council, and that was still a good fight. The whole atmosphere also gave me the old Blackrock feel again. It was however one of the only good raids in Cataclysm, especially to such an extent, the only other really good raid that came out of this expansion was Firelands, and it still isn't of Blackwing Descent's calibre.
